Jumpin' Jenna

Jenna has been taking a gymnastics class now for about a month. She LOVES it. She can't wait for Tuesday nights. Of course, you can imagine, a class of 10 kids ages 2-3.5, it's a crazy time! Their desire to do whatever they want and their lack of awareness of others often leads to collisions at top running speeds. There seems to always be tears from at least a couple rambunctious kids. The coaches really try to structure it and it gets a little better every week. Her favorite is the long bouncy mat, but she tries everything. Here are a few shots from last night's class.

I love jumping the most! It is one of my favorite things to do!

Bars - I am getting better at them and will show you my big muscles after I lift myself up on them. I even did a flip on them with the help of one of my coaches! I got to ring the big cow bell because I did really well.

The balance beam is a work in progress. I can do it if I hold my mommy's hand.

Tumbling is fun too! I like to do somersaults a lot!

This brings back memories of my girls when they were little. They started dance at about 3, then gymnastics. It was so fun watching them grow and develop and improve and so fun for them!

What a great way for her to use all that energy!

One of my best friends coaches competitive gymnastics for the teens. They are hard core. I love going to watch them practice or perform. It's amazing!
