Just last night Erik said to me, "Remember when we couldn't wait for Jenna to talk?!" Seriously, we were so excited, and MOST of the time it's SO fun and she is talking so well. But...sometimes she doesn't know when to stop. It's like that quote:
"You spend the first two years teaching your child to walk and talk and the next 16 telling them to sit down and shut up!"
Well, Jenna is literally a broken record (Jenna, when you are old enough to read this blog, I will probably have to explain to you what a record is!)especially when she wants something. She will repeat it over and over and over and over (you get the picture). And even if you offer her a legitimate answer like, "Honey, we are in the car right now, I don't have quack quack ice (that is a whole other post)as soon as we get home I'll get it for you."
She doesn't even listen and register that in a few short moments she will have what she wants. I try to tell her to have patience, obviously that word is not in her vocabulary yet!

haha! how cute! you gotta love that though. I know it drives you bonkers!! Just wait until she tells you "mommy you need to obey me right now" LOL
I can't wait to read the blogs you write when she is two!!! HAHAHA
Hope you guys have a good week.
Forget 2, wait until she is 3! That sweet little voice will turn into a test of your patience. lol
Just popping over from SITS.
What a cute post. I love how simple a child's thinking is. Wait, just wait until they put two and two together.
My daughter is 3 and you'd swear that she's 45!!
Thanks for coming by today. I look forward to learning more about you. Thanks for following me. I love your story. Today my little on dropped her cup in the car. She said "cup" who knows how many times. As told her she had to wait until I stopped the car I could not get it for her. When we did stop and get out the cup was way under the seat and she was still saying "CUP"
That was funny! What until she starts asking "Why?" all of the time. That is great fun as well.
Oh and thank you for all of the nice comments you have been leaving on my blog. They are appreciated more than you know. We really need to try and meet for lunch one day. Now that the weather is a bit nicer maybe it will be a bit easier to meet up.
Too funny!!!! I love reading your stories and hearing about sweet Jenna :)

Wishing you and your family a very Happy Easter.
